coded, finally!

After almost eleven months, our dreams have finally been realized.
We got our code (Y26) yesterday, just before I report for my Jakarta turn.
Both of us were ecstatic.
Impatiently waiting for our very first roster together now.
Moscow-Houston please? *guffaws*

At the present moment, we are still taking things in our own stride; COFing wherever possible.
Hubbie managed to change to my Dubai-Istanbul flight for the end of the month.
Truly madly happy.
Desert tour, Blue Mosque and turkish delights with him!

I love the upcoming holiday seasons and the so looked forward meet-ups with my dearest girls - Eve, Dawn, Reena & Jose!

Back from Johannesburg...

This is my second time there and a Change of Flight as someone wanted my Melbourne.
Though Australia is a nice place, the time difference and short stay makes me very tired and thus I decided to change with the other crew.
Joburg (as what crew likes to call it in short) has a nice hotel, yummy food (Ocean Basket!) and slightly higher allowance than Melbourne and the bonus of this trip - hubbie managed to change to fly with me at the 11th hour.

We basically did all the things that we've planned:
- Breakfast buffet at the Hotel (FOC as the rooms are not ready when we reached)
- Went to the mall and bought my Endearmints (I bought 5 x packs which is a good 300 of them! hehe)
- Had pasta at the Italian restaurant
- Visited the Lion Safari
- Dinner at Ocean Basket
- Ta baoed the Chinese food
- Played Blackjack at the Casino and won SGD50

Shot of the trip!

Nice?

It fell a little short of our expectation once again. LOL

(more Pictures loaded in FB!)

Have slept for 6hours since I came back but am still feeling really tired.
Will sleep early tonight cos I'm doing a KUL turn tomorrow morning, thankfully its a 'peasy' flight like what Wendy describes and will be back by noon.

This is the first time I'm working back to back with no Off days due to the COF, but its ok cos hubbie has done it tons of time for me before.
Peasy flights, no complaints.

Looking forward to going to the cold cold Beijing with hubbie for this weekend!

The longest flight pattern so far......

From Singapore to Moscow, Moscow to Houston, Houston back to Moscow again and finally waiting for the last leg back home.
10days.

When I came back, I forgot which color of toothbrush belongs to me. hehe..
Have been spending time with hubbie ever since he came back from Beijing, one day after I came back from Moscow (I came back on Saturday, and he came back on Sunday).

Moscow

It was a mad freezing of -3degrees when we went out to the Red Square in Moscow on our second day.

with my batchmates Dee and Justin.

Justin's and my set of crew went out together. Most of them are really nice, except for some 'stars' in our set. (-_-)
Seeing snow for the first time. Pretty mild though.

More pictures on FB.

Houston

My Rooty Tooty breakfast set at International House of Pancakes (IHOP).
I just love American Breakfast.
yummz.

In the lobby, waiting for the guys to finish some administrative stuff for the car rental.

Me and Kimberly; who has an uncanny resemblance of Maisie in terms of physical outlook and a little of here and there.
The lovely pal of the trip. =)

Here we are at Cypress, Houston Premium outlets.

The shopping were awesome.
Did not really spare much time for pictures.
Damage was a good USD800 for the entire trip (not all purchases were mine though).

the leather goods.
all Kate Spade items are mine.
Calvin Klein leather belt is for hubbie,
Coach wallet for mom-in-law
and Coach bag for mommy.

the above EXCLUDES 1 x A&F shirt, 1 x Quiksilver board shorts for hubbie,
2 x Quiksilver slippers (one for brother and one for hubbie)
and 1 x 'boyfriend' shirt for myself.

after 8hours of massive shopping - where every shop you goes into, you come out with purchases; well at least for me.

Fruitful trip, but you can't do such flights often.
You'll burn a hole.

Today
Celebrated little brother's birthday at Elias Mall's zi cha with family and in-laws.

Called up for Bangkok turnaround tomorrow and will be spending time with hubbie again before leaving for Johannesburg on Friday night.
Hoping to get Endearmints (the Fish & Co lollies) for everyone.

Dolphin & Whale watching in Auckland

The tour costs us a whopping 150NZD (160SGD).
It was an experience but not well worth the money as we couldn't really see the whale like this:

Ok, I'm asking too much.
This picture is taken from a book by the way. LOL

Tour departs from Viaduct Harbour at NZT 1.30pm.

Viaduct Harbor

The tour package includes this free lunch at Degree; a restaurant by the harbor.
The Stone-Grilled Prawns with fries were awesome.

The little kiwi magnet we bought. Isn't she cute?
She does yoga most of the time. =)
(We collect magnets from each stations we go to, and most of the time we try to find their national animal in soft toy like this. hee)

The dinner we cooked before checking out. The sausage were awful though. *bleah*
But I love the stir fried egg with onions and mushroom whipped up by dearest hubbie.

***

Am in Houston now.
In another 8hours, I will be able to go shopping! Can't wait.

Hope everyone had fun on Halloween's night.
Cheers!

happy + sad

h:
Went to the office this early morning and got approval for our Couple Code.
All we have to do now is wait for the code and roster.
75% of our flights will/ should be together by Jan10.
Dream come true.

Going Auckland, New Zealand with hubbie tomorrow.
Have I said that already?
Well, I'm going to get my kiwi chocolate which is THE chocolate of chocolates! LOL.
Anyone wants??

s:
I wish I wasn't the one that instigate (well, sort of anyway) the introduction then.
Then this ship would not have been filled with lies, hatred, speculation and accusations today.
